Sharing Life’s Milestones Together

My Story

I'm Jo - a calm, positive, inclusive and caring Celebrant. My role as a celebrant  matters to me because I believe that significant times in life, love and death are moments to be celebrated with warmth, understanding and respect to all those involved.

It was the writing of my own wedding readings and working with my husband to plan a unique wedding with a motorbike theme that really empowered me to realise that there is no mould or template to shape a special event. In fact, breaking the mould and tradition releases something far more meaningful in some cases.

Throughout my long and rewarding career in education, working with people and families has been at the heart of my professional life. This experience has given me a real understanding of the importance of listening, building relationships, recognising individual needs and supporting people through significant moments in their lives. These are qualities I bring wholeheartedly to my role as a celebrant.

I feel privileged to work with individuals, couples and families, helping them create and celebrate moments that are truly special and personal. I love the creative process of crafting meaningful ceremonies, taking the time to get to know each person and their story, so that every ceremony is as unique and individual as the people at its heart.

I am open to the traditional, modern and individualised

ceremony - whatever feels right for you, feels right for me.

I aspire to make a positive difference and empower the wishes and wants of my clients.
